We all experience stress. Technically, it's a good thing, but we all know that too much can throw a wrench in our digestion, social life, sleep, and much more. I have lived through chronic anxiety; there were times when it was difficult to eat anything because I constantly felt sick, and spending time with my friends or family felt overwhelming. I was doing the bare minimum to get through (and I'm very grateful to the friends who stayed). It wasn't until I applied techniques I learned in therapy and meditation training that I began to feel better and undo the anxious pathways that had been created in my brain. It is a process, and although the negative feelings don't completely disappear, I have the tools to acknowledge, understand, and cope with them. My goal is to help you find your center in a way that works for you. Whether you're a life-long gymnast, or the idea of touching your toes is more like a far-off daydream, the tools of yoga + mindfulness can help bring you back to yourself. You deserve to truly live your life.
